New Feature - Spam Testing Yes / No Controls in Settings

We have now given the Admins the ability to the use of Spam Questions for New Memberships and / or Rodeo Entries. These are seperate controls. You can leave on the Spam Test for new members and NOT requre the Spam Test for Rodeo Entries. (These are the default settings). To make changes to your Spam Test settings, go to Settings > System Settings. You will find the control switch for Use Spam Checker for New Members in the Members section. You will find the control switch for Use Spam Checker for Rodeo Entries in the Entry Test section.

New Feature - Master Schedule

We have just added a new feature to the menu, the Master Schedule. You will find the Master Schedule at Rodeo Setup > Set Master Schedule on the Admin menu. First of all, please note, this feature is not intended to be used for most Rodeos. Where it should be used is when an Organization has a Rodeo with a very non-standard draw format, such as a Rodeo in which the Events and Gos are not consistent from Performance to Performance or from day to day. For example:

• a Rodeo with a set of Events that are only held on Friday night and then the regular rodeo Events are held Saturday and Sunday. 
• a Rodeo with Events starting on Friday for their first Go and second Go on Saturday and a seperate group of events starting on Saturday for their first Go and second Go on Sunday
• a Rodeo with some Events following a 2 Go format on Saturday and Sunday and other events with only 1 Go but split across 2 Performances on Saturday and Sunday

There are many other combinations in addition to the examples above. If you have a Rodeo that may fit within the needs of the Master Schedule, please contact us and we will help you get set up for the first time through it.

Server Issue on 04-18

On Saturday morning, April 18th our server company reported to us that the server where RodeoProducer.com is hosted was experiencing some intermittant outtages and was under repair. This may have resulted in Rodeo Producer being unavailable at times during the day. Later on Saturday they reported that the problems were solved and everything is running stable again.

Now Available: Team Roping Producer(TM)

We have just released our Team Roping Producer feature set in Rodeo Producer. This set of features offers the ability to run a traditional Roping Competition including Draw Pot Ropings, Numbered Ropings, Slide Ropings, Round Robin Ropings, Pick and Draw Ropings,  and Draw and Pick Ropings. If you already have a Rodeo Producer account, these features are now automatically included in your account.
