Now Available: Team Roping Producer(TM)

We have just released our Team Roping Producer feature set in Rodeo Producer. This set of features offers the ability to run a traditional Roping Competition including Draw Pot Ropings, Numbered Ropings, Slide Ropings, Round Robin Ropings, Pick and Draw Ropings,  and Draw and Pick Ropings. If you already have a Rodeo Producer account, these features are now automatically included in your account.

Show Scores on Draw

You now have the ability to display scores on the draw display (public side) while your events are being scored / timed. Turn this feature on in Settings > System Settings under Results. The setting is named Show Scores on Draw Page. If you also have Rodeo Results (Member) Page Refresh set then your members, spectators and fans can follow the draw dynamically and see score updates as they happen.

Stock Draw Contractors by Performance

We have added a new feature in Generate Stock Draw so you can assign a specific Stock Contractor to a specific performance. If using this option, only the animals from the selected contractor you have set for the draw in Set Stock for Draw will be used for that specific Performance selection.

Max Rodeo Entries Reached

If you are using the Max Entries Allowed for Event, as set in the Events section of Rodeo Setup, and the maxinum number of entries has been reached, the checkbox on the entry form will now be hidden to prevent further entries and and a message "Entries Full" will display on screen in place of the checkbox.  Note: if you are an Admin and you need to add more entries from the Entry Form, you will first need to change the Max Entries Allowed value.

Progressive Announcer Sheet

There is a new feature now available, the Progressive Announcer Sheet. You will find this feature under Rodeo Sheets in the main Admin Menu.

This page is used by Rodeo Announcers to easily and conveniently announce the rodeo as well as keep on top of scores/times. When scores/times are submitted to the database, from another Admin, such as via Online Judges Cards, they will refresh on this page, based on the setting of Rodeo Results Entry Page Refresh (see Settings > System Settings > Results). The Announcer may also enter the score/time directly from this page. The page display requires the selection of the Competition (Rodeo) and the Event. The page then displays the entire draw for this Event, separated into Performances or Gos, depending on the draw format. The order of go is maintained. Results such as $ winnings and points are not calculated here.

Notification Options

Members can now select SMS (text) as a Notification method.  The options are:

• Opt Out
• Email
• SMS

SMS is set as the default for all new members.

If the member chooses Opt Out, they will not receive any Notifications, other than those that appear on screen at the time of the activity. Choosing either Email or SMS will result in the member receiving Member Registration, Rodeo Entry, Rodeo Draw Available, Rodeo Results Available, and Payment Notifications via the choosen method.

Additional Entries Entry Fees

In Rodeo Setup > Set Events you may now set a seperate entry fee for additional entries by a member in an event. For example, the normal entry fee is $75 then additional entries are $65. When using this option, you should lso set the Entries per Member for that event in Rodeo Setup > Set Rodeos in the Event area. If you leave the Additional Entries Entry Fee set as $0 it will ignore this option and use the regular Entry Fee.

Bulk Edit Events Draw Order

You can now more quickly and conveniently edit the event default Draw Order. In Rodeo Setup > Set Events, click the button above the table labeled Edit Draw Order and the table will reload with the draw order as a drop down value list. Simply select the desired default draw sort order and then click the Save Draw Order button at the end of the table.

Google Maps for your Rodeo Location

In Rodeo Setup > Set Rodeo you can now add the Google map location of your rodeo. Adding the map location will display this map on the Rodeo Schdeule for your Members and Spactators.

Integrating All Account Types - DONE!

So this is huge. It was a huge programming task to build a new environment which contains all the Rodeo, Barrel Racing, and Team Roping features.  We will no longer need to seperate accounts to mange these organization types. They are now managed within the main Rodeo Producer account and Admin Users can simply switch between the event types. For members, it's even easier, in fact, it's automatic. The displays dynamically read the data and format the display accordingly. Now when you start a new Rodeo Producer account, you automatically have access to all the features, combined, of Rodeo Producer, Barrel Racing Producer, and Team Roping Producer. (note: full Team Roping features expected approximately early March 2026).

Just create your account and manage any type of event or competition you like, including a competition which combines traditional Rodeo events, 2D, 3D, 4D Barrel Racing and Team Roping events such as numbered ropings, slides, round robins, and pick n' draw events.

New Report - Stock Performance Report

As suggested by one of our newest Organizations, we now have a Stock Performance Report available in the Reports section.  This is intended to provide additional details which are useful to Stock Contractors regarding how well the stock animals are performing, including Average Scores and $ Won.

Online Payment Premiums or Discounts

You can now set the Rodeo Producer payment system to apply a premium or a discount when members are making an online payment. The % or amount is set in Settings > System Settings > Payments and can be set to a -ve number (a discount) or a positive number (premium).  This setting allows you to either offer your members an incentive (discount) to pay online as it saves your Admins a trememdous amount of time chasing payments, or you can set to a premium to recover some or all of the Stripe payment processing fees.

Integrating All Account Types

We are currently working to integrate all our account types (Rodeo, Barrel Racing, Team Roping) into one master account so you can administer any type of competition without switching between multiple accounts. We expect to have the Rodeo and Barrel Racing accounts integrated for January 1, 2026 with Team Roping Added for March 1st.  This will be our standard Rodeo Producer account from that point forward.

Co-Approved Rodeos now Available

If your organization co-approves, co-sanctions rodeos with another organization, we have just developed and released a set of tools to help you manage. Included in the new tools are:

• list functions to get the partner organizations members into your member database and your member list into theirs
• results functions to get results from a rodeo lead by your partner organization into your rodeo results and season standings
• results functtions to get results from a rodeo lead by your organization sent to your partner organization

Using the Admin Side on Mobile Devices

When you are using Rodeo Producer on a Mobile Device, such as a tablet or a smartphone, the navigation menu may switch to a dropdown, scrollable menu. Tap the menu symbol then scroll up down to the menu item you want and tap the link. Depending on your device, when in landscape view, you may be able to view and use the regular menu.

Quick Tip on Refresh After Time Out

Your Rodeo Producer Admin Session will last approximately 1 hour after your last activity. If you return and attempt to use the software, you may find that your Start Menu has vanished. Don't worry it's only temporary. Just click the Rodeo Producer logo at the top left of the screen (you may need to click twice). This will read your login cookie and reset your menu.
