Rodeo Producers offers the ability to manage three competition types: Rodeo competitions, Barrel Racing Competitions, and Team Roping Competition. In addition, all these competition types, or event types, can be managed within one integrated competition. Your account, when created will have been set to a primary competition/event type, either Rodeo, Barrels. or Team Roping. You can change your primary event type in Settings > Account.
Having a primary event type only means that is the default for your account. You can manage all event types with a simple click of a button to switch the event type you are managing.
If you only produce Rodeos, or only Barrel Racing Shows, no problem. The primary event type setting will be your default and you will not need to reset or reselect, you are good to go.
If you are managing different event types within your account, either for an integrated competition, or for separate competitions, you can easily switch to an event type, manage all the settings (rodeos, events, draws, etc.) and then switch to another event type and manage that. The available options in the settings will changes with the event type you have selected. For example, if managing a competition with traditional Rodeo events as well as a 3D Barrel Racing event, you would select the Rodeo event type in Rodeo Setup > Set Rodeos, configure the competition settings and event selections, save, then switch to Barrel Racing event type and configure your 3D Barrel Racing events within the competition.
For your members, they will be able to view whatever competitions and events you have set up as well as enter the various event types from the Entry Form.
The displays on the Member Side are dynamic, they will display the events in the way you have configured them without the Members needing to switch event types. When the members enter, they will see both the Rodeo events and the 3D Barrel Racing event in the entry form and the draw display will show the Rodeo event draws and 3D Barrel Racing Draws correctly.
Their displays will automatically generate the appropriate information and selections. Member Profiles include the standard contact information, membership information, as well as specific Barrel Racing information such as horses, and Team Roping specific information such as Header and Heeler ratings.
