Q: Will Rodeo Producer work for our Junior Rodeo Association?
Yes. We have extensive experience with Junior and Youth Rodeo Associations and many of our features have been developed to handle such things as multiple age groups and All-Around standings.
Q: Will Rodeo Producer work for our Barrel Racing Association?
Yes. We have built in many of the special requirements for barrel racing into the Barrel Racing Producer edition of our software. This includes rider-horse entry pairings, up to 8 D's, payout formulas, sidepots, carryovers, and more.
Q: Can rodeo entrants pay their entry fees online?
A: Yes. We have an integrated online payment gateway. Payments are processed securely.
Q: Does Rodeo Producer calculate the winning payouts for rodeo results?
A: Yes. When you enter the scores/times, RP will use the payout rules you have set to calculate the payout amounts as well as your points assignments.
Q: Can our association member list be imported to avoid manually entering and causing typo errors?
Q: We have special payout rules for some of our events and rodeo. Can RP handle it?
A: Yes. We have a number of pre-built rodeo formats ad payment settings that handle most situations but we also have the flexibility to support custom payout formulas.
Q: Are there limits on the number of rodeo entrants?
A: RP handles an unlimited number of entrants per rodeo as well as unlimited number of members in the member database.
Q: We charge an annual membership fee. Can the Rodeo Producer collect payment from members?
A: Yes. New memberships and membership renewals can be processed through RP using our integrated payment gateway.
Q: Can Members see the Rodeo Schedule and the Standings?
A: Yes. There are two sides to the Rodeo Producer, the Admin side, and the Member Side. The Member side includes rodeo schedules, entry forms and payment, rodeo draws, rodeo results, and standings. We have a special feature that allows you to display the Rodeo Producer Member Side view within your own website. A simple line of code and members will always know to start at your website.
Q: Does the Rodeo Producer keep track of season standings?
A: Yes. Rodeo results are entered and stored in the database. When the results are marked as official they are automatically included in the Season Standings.
Q: At our rodeos we charge special gate fees. How do we handle this?
A: Admin Fees can be set up to handle almost any situation. Per events entered, per rodeo entrants, specific events, specific rodeos, and combinations of all these.
Q: How does Rodeo Producer generate a draw for a rodeo?
A: The RP Draw EngineTM uses a complex algorithm which accounts variables such as entry group priorities, entry preferences, and event performance maximums. It then places the entry groups into the events according to their preferences and priority levels. Randomization routines are used within priority levels as well as randomized run order for all entrants placed in all events/performances.
Q: Can RP handle standings based on points?
A: Just a click on a switch and your standings will be based on your points system. We can display both $'s won and points in the standings or just points, based on your preference.
Q: Does Rodeo Producer require our members to download a confusing app to their phones?
A: No. Rodeo Producer is web-based. All you need is a device with a web-browser, such as any smartphone, any tablet, any laptop, any desktop. Anywhere you have internet access you have Rodeo Producer.
Q: Can Rodeo Producer generate a random stock draw?
A: Yes. The stock assignment draw can work with the stock of a single stock contractor or multiple contractors. You can set the stock draw to automatic, push button, or manual.
Q: Can your rodeo software handle multiple draws for multiple rodeos for our association in the same weekend?
A: Yes. The Draw EngineTM can handle up to 3 rodeo draws simultaneously.
Q: What do I do with entrants who were drawn out?
A: If your association rules allow it, within RP you have the ability to move anyone who was drawn out of a rodeo draw into a performance of your choosing. You could choose to click a couple buttons and move all non-placed entrants into a slack performance. Or you could move an entire entry group at once with a couple clicks from one performance to another.
