Team Roping ProducerTM
Team Roping has become a key focus for Rodeo Producer. With our specialized software features, Team Roping Producer, our development team has incorporated a range of team roping-specific features into our Rodeo Producer software. These include the traditional event types of numbered ropings, draw pot ropings, round robin ropings, pick n draw ropings, draw and pick ropings, and slide ropings. As well, member profiles include both header and heeler ratings to allow for draw generation of teams made from single header and heeler entries.
Core Features
Additional core features include support for any number of rounds including a short-go. The system also tracks season standings and manages memberships. Rules and payout splits can be customized by each event for each roping competition, offering flexibility to suit your needs.
Each roping competition can have its own unique settings, but since many future competitions are similar to past ones, our "Copy Competition" feature has become a popular time-saver.
The Progressive Announcer Sheet
At the heart of the Team Roping Producer on competition day is the Progressive Announcer Sheet. No need to hand calculate the times needed to take over 1st place or to be in the money. The Progressive Announcer sheet leads you through the draw and prompts you with all the information you will need.
Memberships
Team Roping Producer allows for unlimited membership types and divisions, whether you have Open, Junior, Youth, Novice, or any other categories. You can easily set up each membership type, along with registration fees. If you offer local competitor or permit memberships, simply configure them with the number of competitions allowed.
Member profiles include header and heeler roping ratings for use in draw team generations.
The software includes complete membership database management, enabling admins to update organization settings while ensuring that members always have access to manage their personal information.
The Payout Settings
Each event, in fact each round in each event, can be set to your payout specifications. You specify the portion of the pot to payout to each round, the number of holes to pay, and the percentages for each.
Add to this the flexibility to specify added money per event, gross $ deductions, stock contractor % fees and your own organization fees and you can customize to how your events run.
Advance Online Entry
Save time, effort, and stress by offering your members online registration and entry. The software allows users to register for your organization and easily enter your competitions, selecting their events and specifying their roping partners for each event.
In many team roping organizations, members are used to showing up and paying cash at the gate, often leading to long lines, confusion, and a rush for admins to process entries and create event draws. This can result in missed entries, communication errors, and lost revenue. With Team Roping Producer, you can accept entries and payments well in advance of the competition. Generate a draw that's visible online to all participants, and easily add in entries as they arrive at the gate. Advanced entries will know their spot in the draw, reducing stress and allowing them to approach their event runs with confidence. They can even view their live times on the member results page. Our goal is to help you eliminate the "panic at the gate."
Online Payment
Team Roping Producer enables online payments at the time of entry. If your organization allows members to pay with cash, cheque, transfer, or credit card direct to the organization, that option can also be managed within the software.
By accepting online payments, your organization avoids handling cash and manual processing, making entries and payments more efficient and convenient for both you and your members. With our integrated payment system, you have full control over your account and can decide when to transfer funds to your bank.
Fans Enjoy the Updates
Whether you're in the grandstand or watching from the comfort of your living room, following the show is now more engaging. Fans can track the action in real-time with live scoring updates, automatically refreshed as each event progresses. There's no need to wait until the end of the competition—stay up-to-date throughout the competition. Once the Admin marks the Competition as Official, standings are instantly updated for everyone to see.
Fees Setup
Set it and forget it—almost. How you charge your fees is based on your rulebook and standard operating procedures. Team Roping Producer offers customizable settings for membership fees, event entry fees, and admin fees.
Admin fees per event or per entrant? No problem—just toggle the switch, and Team Roping Producer will automatically calculate the charges during show entry.
Online Updates During Events
Your schedule is busy, and so is that of your competitors. With multiple events and the need to switch horses, staying on top of the action is crucial. Team Roping Producer helps your competitors stay informed and on time.
The Results page in the Member view updates regularly, making each score submission live and available with every update. Competitors can view the draw order and track the number of runs remaining until it’s their turn at the gate. After their event run, their time will be immediately available for review.
Payout Calculations
Just as event entry fees vary from one team roping organization to another, so can payout splits, percentages, tiers, and event-specific payouts. Some organizations follow standard payout tables, while others have their own custom guidelines. Whether you set payouts by the number of teams or by the net purse value, Team Roping Producer has you covered. You can configure multiple payout structures, tailored to competition type, event type, or combinations of both.
Doing it for You
Competition day can be hectic with events and times coming in fast. With Team Roping Producer, once you enter the times, the results—along with winnings and points—are automatically calculated on the Admin side. You control when to mark the results as official, allowing them to be viewed on the Member side.
