In this chapter, we will be talking about the Rodeo Results Preview. From the main menu, go to Results > Rodeo Results Preview.

This is a function available for Admins to view the results which will be displayed as if they are official regardless of whether you have marked your rodeo as official yet.

We can choose to display all events or we can select just a single event. All events would be the most common way to do it. You can choose to set the max rows to display. So, for example, if you set this to five, it is only going to show the five top finishing competitors within each event. Normally, this will be set to zero, the default, which will show all competitors, and we choose the competition. And if your association has all-around standings set up for rodeos, the all-around standings will be displayed as well.

This is going to show us event by event the official results. In this rodeo, just for demonstration purposes, we intentionally did not complete a few events. Junior Tie-Down Roping and Tie-Down Roping, we don't have any results in here. So, that's what it looks like without any results entered yet. We move on to Bull Riding.

Here we have the event showing. We have obviously the member information. If this is a stock event, the stock name would be here. Score money, any ground money, points one, total money, total points. So, this display will vary based on the type or the format of the rodeo. This one is a standard rodeo. So, it's going to show us one column for score, money, ground, and points. And the totals will be obviously reflective of the of the same values. We keep scrolling down, to Team Roping which displays differently than an individual event.
We can see in Team Roping here we are showing both roping partner names. We see who the the Header and the Healer are marked by H for Header, F for Footer. We have the score. We have the money. RP is showing us the money split between the team partners. Same with ground money. Points is the same for both. The total monies are shown. In the event that your organization is using something called parent partners, where one of the partner does not receive money, then you would see this money amount showing as zero.

The purpose of this page is for the rodeo Admin to review the results and how they're displaying. This is the same display that the members will see. The Admin can see these results prior to the members seeing them, prior to setting this rodeo as Official and making it available for the members to view on the web as well.
If we switch to the April rodeo, which is a 2 Go Plus Average and we see the display now is a bit different.

We have score, money, ground and points for Go 1. We have score, money, ground and points for Go 2. We have the score, money, ground and points for the Average. To the far right we have the total columns which is a summation of of the Gos and the Average. This just shows the the different look of a different rodeo format. This quick overview of the Results > Rodeo Results Preview allows you to view these results as if they were Official prior to the Members being able to look at them. You'll notice that it does have the message here as a reminder: Admin preview mode. All results are displayed as official. That message will only be visible to a logged in Admin.
