In this chapter, we will show you how to export your Rodeo Results to a CSV file. So, we will go to Results > Results to CSV.
We can see our our headings here. These are the columns that will be in the CSV file. We select a rodeo.
It's going to give us a preview of the data that we're going to see. We're going to see all of the event and member information. For stock events, we would see the stock. We'll see the placings, points, money, ground money, total money ands the score. Then to export this to the file, we simply hit the export button.
There will then be a link to the CSV file.
We click that and the CSV file is saved to our downloads folder and we'll have a message up here.
We can click on the actual CSV file and it will open for us. This export routine is useful for organizations that have their own reporting needs which may not yet be available from Rodeo Producer so you can uh download the data. This is for an individual rodeo and you can use that to report as necessary.
There is another export file with a bit more detail. We go Results > Detail Export to CSV.
What this is is it just has more information than what you saw in the previous export. We would select a rodeo.
We'll go with the March rodeo again. We can select a specific event or we can choose to export the results data from the entire March rodeo. So we'll hit export data.
There is not a data preview available for this file. It will give us a link. We will click that and the file is saved to our downloads folder and we will see the file.
If we click on that, it will open up our spreadsheet. We have a lot more information here. We can see additional data here. If this is a multi-go rodeo, we're going to see more data in here. This report is going to export all the events and all of the entrants in those events regardless of whether they receive money or points or not.
While the more brief export version that we we showed you previously only included the members that would have placed in their event. These two files, Results to CSV and Detail Export to CSV can be used as you wish if you have reporting needs beyond what we have available in Rodeo Producer.
